“Photography records the gamut of feelings written on the human face, the beauty of the earth and skies that man has inherited, and the wealth and confusion man has created. It is a major force in explaining man to man.”
Over 6 years ago I picked up my first DSLR, a Nikon D50, and an obsession was born. I shot on average 300 photos per day to learn the ins and outs of my camera, so many photos in fact that eventually I killed that poor thing and have since purchased two more Nikons. I’m hell on cameras.
I consider myself an artistic photographer because I strive to tell a story with my photos, I want my viewers to see what I saw and to feel what I felt when I took that shot. I never just aim the camera and shoot, every one of my photos are carefully thought out and planned down to the last detail and I hope that is conveyed in the final product.
Thank you for taking the time to look over my gallery and I hope the photos speak to you as the subjects spoke to me and remember “owning a camera does not make you a photographer, it just makes you a person who owns a camera” take that baby out of auto and truly explore your creative side!
"Photography is a way of feeling, of touching, of loving. What you have caught on film is captured forever... it remembers little things, long after you have forgotten everything."
